Did you know that homeschoolers and micro-schoolers in Alabama aren’t receiving the same level of funding as other students? In this clip from Episode 6 of Rocket City Momentum, we dive into the complex world of education funding and how new legislation like the Choose Act is working to level the playing field.

🏫 Students across Alabama are set to receive $7,000 per year to attend any school they want—but homeschoolers are only getting $2,000 with limits on how many students per family. Meanwhile, private school students and those in micro-schools, many of whom are special needs children, are still not receiving the support they need.

We’re pushing for more resources to ensure ALL Alabama children are served equally, including those in alternative education programs like micro-schooling.

For 11 years now, the famous bronze duck scavenger hunt has been hiding 15 small ducks in various spots around downtown Huntsville. If you haven't tried it yet, you’re missing out on a fun, family-friendly adventure! 🗺️✨

The first 3 ducks are right near the Visitor Center, and the rest are scattered throughout downtown. Grab your clue card in person or online, and for those who like to go digital, you can scan the code and turn it into a game! 📱🕹️ Log in at each location, find the ducks, and return to the Visitor Center for a free prize once you’ve found them all!

The Space & Rocket Center is constantly evolving. Recently, Rocket Park got a major upgrade—now all the rockets have been cleaned, refurbished, and placed in chronological order, so you can actually trace the space journey from the very beginning. 🌌🛸

Plus, the Pathfinder Shuttle is back, all restored and looking incredible. And, if you didn’t know, they’ve started offering bus tours again at Marshall Space Flight Center. 🚍🌠 You can see where the space program truly began.
