From Don Iverson, a Christian on the ground: The greatest need is cash. People have been without Work for three weeks. Many of them do not have cars because their cars were washed away. The food they had in their house was lost. Many are living in campers. A good number are still without electricity. We are doing this through the Crossville Church of christ, and an accounting of all of the money will be sent to everyone who gives anything for this work. If you want to send money, please mark your check for North Carolina relief work, Crossville, church of Christ, PO Box 211, Crossville, TN 38557, Thank you so much. We are personally delivering these funds to be sure they get to the people who have the greatest needs. Also, we explain that the funds are from the church. We give a tract about the church, and most of the time we pray together.

Special request on behalf of the Elders of the Lenoir City Church of Christ: financial contributions sent to us over the next few days will be used to buy cold weather clothing and gear to be given to the Mountain City Church of Christ and Newport church of Christ for distribution due to the cold weather. Our brethren at Project Unify have a special request: they need a side by side or larger ATV type vehicle, either donated or sold to them at a low price. They’ve completed operations in GA and FL, and after some rest and refit, will deploy to the ravaged areas of TN and NC. We have been with them on a few sites, and they are a blessing.
