At WISHLY we get to meet so many inspiring people who run nonprofits. Yesterday, we sailed around Newport Harbor with Christian Buhl, founder of California Inclusive Sailing Newport Beach.

Christian loves sailing and wants to share his passion with people who are confined to wheelchairs. His nonprofit buys specially retrofitted boats and lifts for docks to get disabled people onto boats.

His nonprofit donates the boats to various cities and sailing clubs and teaches them how to use so disabled people can enjoy and afternoon of sailing.

How cool is that?

Let's start with Match Campaigns! Let's say you want to donate $10 to support fashion sustainability. When you create a $10 Match Campaign, it's like promising that you'll double any donation someone makes up to $10. If you encourage 10 friends to donate $1, a total of $20 will be donated to support fashion sustainability, and both your donation and your friends' donations will have doubled! Every dollar you donate goes farther when you either take advantage of, or create your own Match!

Another word you'll see on WISHLY is "Collection." You can think of a Collection as a charity playlist! When you create a Collection, you can add as many nonprofits as you want. You can even give the Collection a theme, and only add nonprofits that support a certain cause! With a Collection, you can quickly and easily support all of your favorite charities in one place. Every donation you make to a Collection will automatically be split between all of the charities within it, and you won't have to think twice!
