Since 2001, X-Treme Light & Sound has grown into Central Illinois premier DJ & Event Service company X-Treme Light & Sound is more than a DJ service.

We have a wide array of Event Services that we offer. Owner Bobby Dicken has built his business from the ground up. Founded in 2001, X-Treme Light & Sound has grown from a single employee with a couple of speakers and a case of CD's to a multi-functional Event Services business. X-Treme Light & Sound employs 5 staff members, has multiple DJ systems to accommodate up to 2 events per day , and offer

s additional services such as: Event Lighting, Stage Production, Video Services, Decor Services, and and consultation. X-Treme Light & Sound works closely with other vendors to assist you in making your day the most memorable.

Our radio frequency problem from last night has temporarily been resolved with a more permanent fix coming later this week. With the new antenna placement, the audio is sounding much better tonight!

So head on out on this cold evening and enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas in Havens Grove formerly known as A Dicken Christmas Holiday Lighting Display and enjoy from the warmth of your vehicle.

A couple reminders:

- Please dim your headlights to your parking lights
- don’t block driveways or use driveways to turn around
- it’s best to go around Havens to Wheeler and park along Pettit to view.
- keep your car radio at a level to be comfortable in your vehicle
- please pull forward as vehicles line up to view.

I want to re-introduce you to a staff member, DJ Grant Jones…

We want to re-introduce you to DJ Grant DancinMachine Jones! Grant came to X-Treme Light & Sound 9 years ago after he graduated from Illinois State University. Grant wanted to get into the Entertainment Industry and thought wedding DJing was a good place to start. I took Grant under the XLS wings and got him started. Grant quickly evolved and went to Carnival Cruise Line where his DJ mixing and entertainer skills sky rocketed. After the Covid shut down, he moved to Minneapolis working for various company’s and enhancing his ability to become that ultimate entertainer he wanted to be. Grant has DJ’ed major corporate events for big name companies, DJ’ed for the Minnesota Vikings. And most recently was seen entertaining during the 2024 Super Bowl Pre-Parties. Grant has held on to his roots and the great friendship and business plan he has with me, X-Treme Light & Sound is proud to offer the ability to get Grant back to Illinois for Weddings and Events here in the Central Illinois area with collaboration and logistical assistance from X-Treme Light & Sound!
