I hear it all the time. Can you really make passive income online?

I can honestly tell you yes. If I would’ve listened to my doubts and not purchased the Designers course, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

-I would’ve never opened my Etsy shop selling digital craft files

-I wouldn’t have seen success reaching the top 1% of Sellers on Etsy

-I wouldn’t have had passive income coming in for the last 2 years. Steady income that I can count on.

-I wouldn’t have made online craft friends that make me smile daily or

-I would not be helping mentor and help moderate one of the best Craft Groups on Facebook

I don’t know about you, but here lately walking thru stores to get inspiration, crafting at home, spending copious amounts at the dollar tree and spending quality time with my family is what makes me smile. ⁣ It’s important to take care of your loved ones and yourself now more than ever. Locally our COVID #s have been rising, however, our nations’ #s have been falling. Thank the Lord. ⁣ It makes me anxious here at home. ⁣ I turn to crafting and designing to help my with that. You won’t catch me out and about any time soon, thank goodness my craft room is “stocked”! ⁣ What makes you the happiest today?

Crafting a Life I love

Hello everyone and welcome to Salt Town Gal! I grew up crafting with my mother and enjoying making things and gifting them to others. You could always find me painting something, dreaming of things I could do, or sharing what I made with others. This naturally progressed to me sharing my crafts on social media. About 4 years ago, I was gifted a Cricut Explore for Christmas from my husband and I was so intimidated by the machine that I let it sit for almost a year in the box.

One day, my husband mentioned it sitting in the corner and asked why I hadn’t opened it. I opened up that I was unsure of myself and was afraid to ruin such an expensive craft tool. He laughed and told me to just go for it! And I did.....

Day by day, my confidence grew with what I could do and make with the Cutting Machine. I was hooked! But I soon found out that finding cut files, also known as SVG’s, that I dreamt of making were either hard to find or not available on the market. I had to make my own!

I tried to use the Cricut Design Software to make my own cut files and YouTubed everything I could to learn how to make my own. Finally, I had success with graduating from a specialized graphics designer’s course and I’ve never looked back!
