Considering how much I enjoy visiting museums, it's a no-brainer that we had to check out The Broad when we vacationed in Cali. If downtown LA is on your itinerary, stop by! This museum houses contemporary art with nearly 2000 pieces of postwar art, pop art, and immersive installations. Oh, did I say admission is free?! When we decided to visit Los Angeles, one of the first things on my to-do list was booking a proper tea service in the Bow Room at Hello Kitty Grand Cafe. My youngest daughter had been wanting to visit this cafe for a while.

The Bow Room is a private room decorated in shades of pink with gold accents. A huge glowing Hello Kitty logo is situated behind the bar and is the true centerpiece of the room. Sweet and savory treats were served on the cutest, 3-tiered, gold serving caddy and we enjoyed a variety of hot teas like lychee peach and raspberry nectar.
