Two months ago I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. My pregnancy was going great until month eight I started to go blind in one eye. Very long story short, Dr.โ€™s found a very large rare tumor in my brain (thank God it was benign). At week 36 we did an emergency C-section and only three days later brain surgery. Two major surgeries in a span of four days. I was able to get up and walk the next day. All praise to the most high. I went through the unimaginable, but Iโ€™m here and I survived and God willing I will thrive with my daughter. I know this is shocking news and Iโ€™m not downplaying it, Iโ€™ll tell the world my story in detail soon, as a lot more happened. But my case is so rare, โ€˜UT Physiciansโ€™ is doing a case study on me. All I know is a strong woman raised me and I cannot wait to raise my daughter the same way. I have to thank my army of friends who took care of me (us) right when I discharged. My bestest childhood friend who flew in and took care of me and baby right away. My other childhood friend whoโ€™s like my sister, who also happens to be a Neuro-Intensivist (bad ass woman!) who talked to all the surgeons on my behalf, my Radiologist dear family friends (S&S) who helped me get through this, my cousin who sent literally a truck load of baby clothes, baby needs, mommy needs, groceries, when me and hubby were still in utter shock. My SIL who helped us tremendously. My closest cousin and and a stranger I met on a forum who prayed for me during Hajj and all my family members from Australia to Pakistan who prayed for us non-stop. My family is truly blessed. And my dear husband who took the most shock from all this but remained strong for his two girls. My pillar. Who rehabbed me and took over all our daughters day and night feeds. He is my everything. Wow my life is amazingly insane. Iโ€™m still healing and enjoying our new human. MashAllah Thank you all for asking where Iโ€™ve been and for caring and praying for us. Life is so precious, seriously praise God for every breath, we may never know when our last one will be. I finally found my SHERO, and she is Me. Our daughters name is Hannah Noor Bali ๐Ÿ’• And we are in love ๐Ÿ’• MashAllah
