We're thrilled to share highlights from the 35th Anniversary of Folkland-International Centre for Folklore & Culture, a remarkable initiative supported by Dorf Ketal's CSR!

Day 1:
* The festival kicked off with an inspiring inauguration by esteemed guests, including Shri. T. I Madhusoodanan, MLA, and Padmashree Guru Sadanam Balkrishnan.

* We delved into the rich tapestry of Indian art with a captivating Handicrafts Training Session.

* A heartfelt tribute was paid to 35 unsung heroes who have dedicated their lives to preserving our vibrant performing arts.

* The air was filled with the enchanting melodies of Folksongs: Echoes of the Land, featuring talented artists like Ms. Madhavi and Mr. Janardhanan Pathussery.

* A fascinating exhibition, "Folklore through the Years," showcased the incredible journey of Folkland.

Day 2:
* The morning began with a soul-stirring rendition of Environmental songs.
* Shri. Ramachandran Kadannappally, Minister for Archeology, graced the occasion and lauded Dorf Ketal's commitment to cultural preservation.

Dorf Ketal is delighted to announce the successful completion of a two-day immersive training program under our CSR initiative in partnership with Hamsafar Trust.

This program empowered 11 talented individuals to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys and create positive change. Through workshops on business planning, registration, and marketing, our selected participants gained the essential skills and confidence needed to launch their own businesses.

We're thrilled to announce the inauguration of an advanced computer lab at Central Primary Marathi School, Silvassa, thanks to our CSR initiative.

Over 550 students will now have access to 21st-century skills.

Parched land to abundant sanctuary: A village's remarkable transformation!

Imagine a barren landscape transformed into a thriving sanctuary. This incredible feat was achieved by the villagers of Barhana in November 2023, with the support of Dorf Ketal and the expertise of Tarun Bharat Sangh.

Through a remarkable display of , the community came together to build the Dhoware ki Pokhar, contributing 25% themselves. Today, in July 2024, this once-desolate area is teeming with life, ensuring three years of water security for the entire ecosystem – humans, wildlife, and cattle.

Dorf Ketal Celebrates World Environment Day with Folkland-ICFC!

This World Environment Day, we're thrilled to celebrate the first anniversary of the Kasaragod Municipality's Miyawaki forest, a project made possible through our ongoing CSR partnership with Folkland-ICFC!

Highlights:
• Celebrated with the presence of Padmashree awardee & rice conservationist Satyanarayana Beleri.
• Tree planting ceremony to reinforce the importance of environmental conservation.
• Vibrant cultural performances, including a mesmerizing Mohiniyattam dance.
• A special song dedicated to environmental protection, with lyrics penned by our very own Santosh Jagdhane, Head-CSR!

At Dorf Ketal CSR, we're proud to partner with the Sant Ghar Ishwar Foundation to educate and empower 40 incredible orphan girls.

These girls have been blossoming in various fields like art & culture, robotics, sports, and yoga! We're thrilled that 12 of them have been selected for a Yoga Competition!

At Dorf Ketal, we believe in transforming lives and creating equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of background.

Everyone deserves a chance to excel and live a dignified life. That's what drives us to support these girls!

Acid attacks devastate lives, and they don't discriminate.

We at Dorf Ketal CSR are proud to support Brave Souls Foundation in their crucial work to help survivors like Khairul, a potato seller who lost his eyesight in an acid attack.

Khairul's story, as shared in Telegraph India, highlights the increasing issue of gender-neutral acid violence.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of our field and legal team, Khairul has secured a compensation of Rs. 8 lakhs! This will be a crucial step in his recovery and rebuilding his life.

Celebrating the inauguration of the Advanced Computer Lab!

We're thrilled to announce the inauguration of the Advanced Computer Lab at Shree Devi Mauli Secondary School in Chendvan Village, Kudal, Sindhudurg District!

The event on March 19th was a huge success, with many dignitaries, parents, students, teachers, Grampanchyat members, and villagers attending. We were especially grateful for the appreciation shown to Dorf Ketal CSR for their valuable contribution to improving the school's educational resources.

This new lab will equip students from 5th to 10th grade with the tools they need to excel in a technologically advanced world. The bright spark in their eyes and their immense curiosity promise a new chapter of exciting learning experiences!

This initiative will undoubtedly accelerate the learning process by enriching virtual experiences and fostering a love for continuous learning.

50 Maharashtra Villages Celebrate World's First 'Dorf Ketal Jungle Cup - 1' Competition"

Recently in a unique celebration of environmental consciousness, thousands of villagers and dignitaries gathered in Sangamner block, Maharashtra, for the grand finale of the "Dorf Ketal Jungle Cup – 0.1" competition, organized by the SAPREM & Navdrushti organization under the CSR initiative of Dorf Ketal Chemicals India Pvt. Ltd.. This first-of-its-kind competition aimed to encourage and recognize villages for their efforts in establishing and maintaining Miyawaki forests, a fast-growing afforestation technique.

The event witnessed an outpouring of support, with dignitaries including Padmashri Rahibai Popere, Akole MLA Dr. Kiran Lahamte, former MLA Dr. Sudhir Tambe, and representatives from Dorf Ketal, SAPREM, and Navdrishti organizations gracing the occasion.
Mr. Santosh Jagadhane, representing Dorf Ketal, expressed his belief that the project carries immense hope for the future. "The Dorf Ketal Jungle Cup, is a beacon of hope in the fight against environmental degradation. When the history of environmental action is written, Sangamner will be recognized for its collective effort in planting Miyawaki forests," he said.

The event featured a cultural program with a street play by students delivering a powerful message about tree planting. All participating villages received certificates of honour, and the top three winners were awarded cash prizes. Palaskhede Gram Panchayat bagged the first prize of Rs. 1 lakh, followed by Tigaon Gram Panchayat (Rs. 75,000) and Zole Gram Panchayat (Rs. 50,000).
Padmashri Rahibai Popere, renowned environmental activist, shared her inspiring journey. "I may not have formal education, but nature has been my teacher. I urge everyone to embrace indigenous seeds and toxic-free farming practices," she advised.

The event concluded with the release of an "Album of Songs- Utsav: Prakriti Ke Prem Ka" on environmental themes and cultural performances by school children. The success of the program is attributed to the collaborative efforts of SAPREM, Dorf Ketal, Navdrishti, and the dedicated project team. Please find the below link of the Album:

The evening unfolded amidst the breath-taking backdrop of the Juhu Sea, with notable figures from the media industry gathering to celebrate the achievements of their peers. The ceremony was marked by:
