SerialBox Presents is a multimedia music project, created by Ryan Booth, that allows both artists and fans to interact in new ways with the music that they love. The project aims to create "music videos" that occupy a unique space. They are multi-cam, multi-track, live, one-take performance videos. Shot entirely with 5Dmk2s with audio tracked into ProTools, there are no overdubs, no cut-ins, and n
o pick-ups. What you see and hear is one time through the song, in its entirety. We capture a single performance and preserve that moment time. We ask the bands to play alternative arrangements of their songs so that, in effect, this isn't exactly how you will hear the song live at a concert and this isn't exactly how you will hear the song on the record. We are aiming to create a new point of contact. We hope you enjoy the music. On our site, http://www.serialboxpresents.com, we release our sessions with full multimedia content. There you will find interviews, portraits, artwork, audio-only versions of the songs, and of course, video. Please let us know what you think, and don't hesitate to suggest bands you'd like to see perform.
