Heman’s inspiration for tackling skin cancer began during his childhood in Ethiopia, where he observed the harsh realities of people working long hours under the intense sun. When he moved to the United States, he became acutely aware of the dangers posed by prolonged exposure to UV radiation. This realization fueled his desire to create an accessible and affordable solution to combat skin cancer, a disease that often requires expensive treatment options.
