“We need to celebrate the rights that q***r people have earned,” said Emily Stanton.

Pridefest is sponsored by Keweenaw Qu**rs, a local collaborative that provides a home for non-binary people and their allies in our community.

Manoomin, wild rice in the Ojibwa language, is not a crop, but a living being with a deep spiritual, historical and cultural meaning to the people who first settled in the Great Lakes region.
