In 2007, the veteran news journalist turned in her reporter's notepad and left the anchor desk to host, produce and report for Hawaii's #1 most watched fishing show, 'Hawaii Goes Fishing' on OC16. lands resources. Prior to television news and 'Hawaii Goes Fishing' she worked at Clear Channel Communications as News Director for Hawaii's #1 radio station KSSK, as well as KHVH and KHBZ. She also did afternoon traffic and news updates on KIKI-FM. A native of Kaneohe, Hawaii, Paliracio never imagined life in front of the camera in her younger years. She graduated from the University of Hawaii, at Manoa where she double majored in Journalism and Communication. During her college days, a friend had encouraged her to sign-up with a local talent agency with hopes of earning quick cash. What started out as a lark soon turned into a profitable career as Paliracio began landing national television spots for Coca-Cola and Anheuser-Busch. She also featured her curves in calendars, commercials and Hawaii shot music videos for rap artists' Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Eminem.
