Hawaii Progressive (HiP) is the first interactive digital magazine to focus on men's interests in the islands. The flexibility offered by tablet technology allows HiP to tell its stories using a variety of media, creatively weaving together photography, text, audio, and video in a full-sensory experience that does justice to the beauty of the islands as never before. Unlike many digital magazines

that are simply scanned from the printed version, HiP has been designed specifically for the iPad. Every story has a unique horizontal and vertical layout that takes advantage of the iPad’s dual orientation. HiP’s inaugural issue features the history of polo in Hawaii, the deep sea adventures of champion skin diver Kimi Werner, and an exploration of movie making Hawaiian style. We also cover the arts, technology, food, drink, and nightlife, all complemented with tasteful images of beautiful island women.
