Emus are entertaining to watch. They have quite "the moves"! They are curious and can be friendly...but most Emus will keep their distance until they get to know you. Emus are fast runners and can reach speeds of up to 31 mph. Unlike us, when they bend at the knee, their lower leg goes forward not behind them.
