Why have we started charging submission fees? Printing costs! Publishing books isn’t free. We will send each of our awesome contributors a copy of the book. Our books are a little unusual and are more like art books with a lot of visual art. We have four anthologies planned for the coming year, and with at least 100 contributors each, well, that adds up. We are a nonprofit, but stuff still costs money.   We are an all-volunteer staff and pay for operational costs out of our pockets. Angry possum is mad, but we are grateful for your support.   The Purple Ink team
