The current imprisonment of political figures like Tharjiath Dobuol and spying over some other figures in Region is an intimidation strategy for the current political atmosphere in the Region. The new governement is coming to be formed soon which is more likely to send home the current Administration based on their poor performance. The current Administration is not in good mode now for any able politician who can say they have failed that they should leave the administration for the new face.

is our party who can work for the Region. We are not against it but against weak leadership who can still bury our rights.

We need reform from top to bottom
We need new able leadership
We need leaders with intellectual capacity not with ethnic mindset
We need experienced leaders not with random selection of favoritism

4. Maintaining Internal Security in Gambella town. And other successful operations he had involved in.

Now! The selfish leaders of government have arrested him and put him in jail for baseless charges. He is innocent falsely accused. He is a Hero, pride and a legend in Gambella who preserve the dignity of our Region as well as the Country as a whole. He protected Gambella from Murle not for Gambella people to be harm.

Gambella politicians have to differentiate the personal case with that of an individual with party. The case for tharjiath arrest was not between him and property party but with thangkuey joack the vice president of Gambella regional state. Thangkuey blindfold people complaining that tharjiath was criticising the party in general which is white lie. The truth is that those Gold diggers youths who's are everywhere sitting like a dead lizard. Are the one causing the problems between these nuer politicians and Mr vice president start feeling insecure due to the rumours from those food fighters youth.

Metekel: in a Serious Crisis!
In a place called Bekuji, a kebele in Bulen district, Metekel zone of Benishangul Gumuz, organised and targeted fight against light skinned communities (largely, Shinasha ethnic groups) has claimed the lives of hundreds, displaced thousands and caused massive destruction to properties on the 23rd of December 2020, starting from 5:00 am. As per information from local sources and eyewitnesses, the death toll can raise up to 300 people including children, women and other vulnerable groups who are entirely innocent civilians. The mass killing was extremely horrible.
According to local sources, the perpetrators are well armed. Still the fight is going on and security forces are not there to de-escalate the conflict and safe lives. Those who are displaced are in an acute need of humanitarian support to save lives, particularly children and mothers are in a precarious situation. The conflict and human rights violations in Metekel is becoming a serious concern that both local and international communities should condemn and respond to sooner than later.
Thus, we call upon local and international communities and human rights actors to respond to the crisis through availing humanitarian assistance to save the remaining lives; and make accountable the propagators. Sources add that this is not the first, but the worst. In behalf of nilotic (the five tribes of gambella regional state) and property party # we would like to pass our condolences to the family of the victims and quietly wait for help from fearless security depend force of EPDRF.
