Every short film I make is for me a great opportunity to learn and reflect, both in the process of it’s creation and in the relationships that are formed. It was fun to give the 48 Hour Film Project another go after being on hiatus for 2 years and it was a challenge in many ways. For instance, this was the first time that I’ve shot a long dialogue scene with two characters actually on screen together. This film was made from script to completion in 2 days with the following given requirements:

Genre: Crime/gangster and/or coming of age
Character: Tory Gilchuck, extreme athlete
Line of Dialogue: “Thanks for nothing”
Prop: Stapler

HUGE shout out to Sahi and Josh for there amazing performances with almost no time to prep. Joe, Juma and Fabian I truly couldn’t have done it without you guys. Hope you enjoy.
