Rant alert 🚨 I just saw a video titled something along the lines of “Don’t use the sync button. Try this instead!”. I’m getting old because back in my day we used to learn (before even playing our first gig, night club set, festival set, etc.) how to beat match either by ear and/or by looking at the waveform’s data.
