A couple of weeks ago, some of my family and I were down at Millwood in Sumter, SC. This property has been in my moms family for a very long time. A couple of years ago, my moms dad passed away and her family has now decided to sell the property. This beautiful land and house have been the home to a lot of my most joyful and adventurous memories with my family. I am going to miss the adventures and creating more memories at this incredible place. So this is just an appreciation post for the memories my family has from Mill Wood.

So this morning I saw a bird just chilling on our screen porch. I did the natural thing and ran to get my camera and tripod. As I was taking pictures of the bird on the porch, I saw this beautiful blue bird fly into my view and land on the branch of one of our trees in our backyard. I then did the natural thing and ran outside with my camera as quietly as I could. Thankfully, the blue bird stayed around for quite some time allowing me to get some pretty cool photos of it!
