Most hotels use a service called Yamato Transport to ship your luggage quickly and safely to any other destination in Japan, allowing you to travel with little or no luggage at all!
Best of all, it’s super affordable, and your luggage is delivered within 24 hours of shipping! This is also a great option if you’re flying and don’t want to pay expensive checked baggage fees!
If you’re staying at an AirBNB, you can contact Yamato directly and schedule a pickup as well! They also deliver to the airport directly (they have a pickup kiosk there)! Honestly, if this isn’t the biggest Japan travel hack, I don’t know what is!

We booked this tour on @getyourguide and it was literally the best decision we could’ve made! We were running and no sleep and only had like 20 hours in Abu Dhabi, so having a knowledgeable guide and a car to take us everywhere was an absolute blessing!
