“Oh the places you’ll go” - or not go. Lately, we’ve been ruminating on goals, procrastination, barriers, and dreams and getting frustrated. But when we stop and look back, we can see how far we’ve come. And to think: if we hadn’t gone there, or done that one thing, or tried this other — who knows where we’d be now? So often the key is just to start and do ONE thing. Stop getting in your way and just give yourself the space to take one step forward, and the rest will follow.

Since settling in our new home, we’ve found particular happy places, and this is one of mine: Crux Climbing Center. Climbing has always been a friendly and supportive sport but here especially I’ve felt welcomed and inspired to continually face fears and build trust in myself. Finally I am able to climb regularly and really see the progress that comes with consistent dedication.
