Hawthorne HS’ Richard Roundtree made his first start as quarterback Friday. Throwing a 40yd touchdown pass with 2 seconds remaining, he led them to a 27-21 victory over Oakleaf. His athletic trainer Megan says, “He is dedicated to giving his all to his team; often putting in extra hours to prepare for games!” He is now your athlete of the week
