Communication with your DJ is the key to a memorable wedding reception! Often we get caught up in the songs we want played that we forget about the songs that might be a real downer! Make sure your DJ knows if there are any "Do not play" songs for your wedding day. I'm not speaking of songs you feel are over-played so much as songs that, for instance, make you think of an old significant other. You wouldn't want to dance to a song that makes your new husband think of an old girlfriend on your wedding day! Alert your DJ in advance of any songs that may make you think of a sad time in your life like the passing of a friend or relative. You want this day to be filled with happy thoughts and good time songs!
