Dear friends and fellow Patriots,
It is with great sadness that I must report the passing of Past National Commander Patrick Little.
PNC Little was a true American hero who dedicated his life to serving our country and fighting for the rights and well-being of his fellow veterans. He served with honor and distinction in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he was wounded in action and awarded the Purple Heart.
PNC Little served in the US Army from 1968 to 1970 and served in Vietnam with 1/30th Field Artillery, 1st Air Cavalry Division. He was wounded on August 12, 1969, on LZ Becky in Tay Ninh province during a devastating incoming mortar and rocket attack that wiped out all three of the Battery’s gun emplacements. He also had a distinguished twenty-two-year career with the DuPont Corporation. He assisted in the startup of yet2.com, an Internet company that is the global leader in the marketing of Intellectual Propriety. Pat is also the past President of Union Optical Company USA.
After his military service, PNC Little continued to serve his fellow veterans by becoming actively involved in the Military Order of the Purple Heart and was dedicated to providing assistance and support to veterans who have been wounded or killed in combat. He rose through the ranks of the organization, ultimately becoming its National Commander, a position he held with distinction and honor.
Throughout his life, PNC Little embodied the values of courage, integrity, and selflessness. He was a true patriot who loved his country and his fellow veterans, and he worked tirelessly to make a difference in their lives.
Today, we say goodbye to him with heavy hearts, but we also celebrate his life and his many accomplishments. We are grateful for his service and his dedication, and we will always remember him as a true American hero.
Rest in peace, Pat, and thank you for your service to our nation and our Order.
