The Runnin’ Rebels cruise past Rock Hill, 86-59, in the first round of the 5-A D1 playoffs!

Byrnes will play at Blythewood in the 2nd roundd on Thursday.

Anderson and Enos will represent Team SC at the Carolinas Classic — on March 22 at Hoggard HS in Wilmington, N.C.

The game features the top senior boys and girls from North and South Carolina.

Boyogueno dominated all game and took control late, finishing with 27 and guiding Riverside to a huge win over Byrnes with playoffs on deck.

Sullivan took over the game late with poise at point guard to help guide the Lady Tigers to a 45-41 victory over rival Greer.

Olivia Brockman hadn't seen her mother, Lori, at a game in almost a year. Lori has battled Burkitt Lymphoma since August.

But on senior night at Byrnes, Lori surprised her daughter. She showed up.

The Byrnes community has shown up for them, too.

Since Lori Brockman was diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma in August, the Byrnes community has stepped out to help both her and her daughter, Byrnes basketball player Olivia.

Sophomore Chase Hoover was heroic for Blue Ridge, leading a 4th-quarter rally with 4 HUGE 3-pointers in the final frame.

Hoover had 15 pts.

Greer senior star Amare Anderson is announced on Senior Night to a loud roar. 🐝🏀

Anderson has put on for Greer the last 4 seasons, rising up the all-time scoring list and leading the Jackets to the 2023-24 upper-state final.

He loves the city, and the city certainly loves him back.
