In the October issue of TALK Greenville, we brought you an All About Art feature on artist Jeremy Russell and a Destinations feature on the Radical hotel.

The hotel, which opened in 2023, and Russell’s studio are both located in the Arts District of Asheville that was devastated by last week’s catastrophic flooding.

Please keep these and the hundreds of other businesses and thousands of people in Western North Carolina in mind, now as they assess damage and assist those in need, and in the coming months as they begin to recover and rebuild.

If you want to offer assistance for those in need in Greenville and in the Asheville area, here's how to help.

This is by no means a full list, so please feel free to add additional resources in the comments!

1. Support local. Many of our small businesses have been affected- every little bit helps!

2. United Way of Greenville County has established a special relief fund to help individuals and families. Visit unitedwaygc.org

3. And in the Ashville area our sister newspaper the Citizen Times has compiled a list of ways you can help.
See link in bio or go to

4. Visit Jeremy Russell’s solo exhibition on display at Art & Light Gallery in the Village of West Greenville.
