According to a recent survey by Bright MLS, younger homeowners who bought during the pandemic are gearing up to be the most active sellers in 2025. Nearly 1 in 5 current homeowners plan to sell next year, with those in their 30s and 40s leading the charge. In contrast, only about 6% of homeowners aged 60 and above are considering selling.

Many of these younger sellers have built significant equity due to rising home prices, enabling them to upgrade even in today's higher interest rate environment. Family and career changes are the top reasons driving their decision to move.

Here’s what to look forward to:
• Baseball action: Spartanburg’s new minor league team, a Texas Rangers affiliate, starts playing here in April 2025!
• Mixed-use hub: The development includes a 150-room hotel, 300+ apartments, and 200,000 square feet of office space, all spanning four city blocks.

Here’s what to expect:
🌡️ Morning lows will dip into the 30s and 40s.
💨 Cold, brisk winds will make it feel even colder, so layer up!
🌞 Some sunshine during the day, but don’t let it fool you—it’s going to stay chilly.

Cold Weather Tips to Stay Cozy & Safe:

1️⃣ Protect Your Pipes: 🛠️
Let faucets drip overnight and open cabinet doors under sinks to prevent freezing.

2️⃣ Layer Up Smartly: 🧥
Wear layers that trap heat, like thermal tops, hoodies, and insulated jackets. Don’t forget gloves and a hat—most body heat is lost through your head!

3️⃣ Check on Neighbors: ❤️
Make sure elderly neighbors or those without heat are safe and warm.

4️⃣ Winterize Your Car: 🚗
