Thank you to everyone for all the kind words about my father. I have been thinking about it for a while and we want to be more active on here, for nothing more than for ourselves. I went back this week and was able to pull video of my dad holding Magnolia for the first time and watch those sweet moments over again. We want to document our life for our kids and honestly I think it is good therapy. In the past we have focused on our IVF journey. Now that we are done having children we want to focus on our daily life and what we do around the house. That is taking care of the bees, chickens, helping mom in the kitchen and learning by being handson and active. So I hope you enjoy the path we are going down as a small in the city limits homestead.

This week has been a terrible week. My dad passed Sunday morning. He has been very sick. But he fell in the bathroom today and they could not recover him. He loved his family with everything he had. Especially these girls. They were everything to him. He will be missed beyond words. I don't know how the following days will be but I know they won't be easy without him.
