I am a local musician who has numerous years experience of quickly putting jam sessions down in mp3 or wav format This business idea means more than just getting music recorded in a distributed format. I am wanting to create a place for talented musicians to be recognized. I can help with things like graphics for an album cover or even just a thumbnail to put beside a track. I can also help with s
haping a song that might not be complete if that's something that is requested. I think making music is one of the most fun things in life and if there is an idea that I think can be molded into something really great I am willing to put some effort into helping it grow some wings so it can really take off. Of course I do have to make a living somehow, so there will be some monetary involvement, but with a person's time comes the obvious notion of how they'll be compensated for it. I am pretty reasonable though, and don't plan on charging outside of affordability. And what'll come out of it will be beyond what money can equate to-- a final product you can be proud of. In terms of production there is a reason behind the lesser cost. I don't have a big fancy studio that you sit behind a big plate of glass and have me lay down a 16-track recording. In fact, my recorder is only a two track, but I have work-arounds that don't compromise the quality. And if jamming is your thing then I have a solution for that too.
