💰Maximizing impact doesn't have to max out your budget.

There’s a lot of options out there for tools. It can be confusing - plus there’s different size budgets and companies sharing at different levels of maturity.

Well, here’s some resources I use as a digital marketer with a few clients. My company is at a size that wouldn’t quite sustain me as a full time job, but is more than a side hustle. It’s a young company!

So here’s how I spend my $$ on resources and where I don’t.

Your tools should grow with you. I can get by with Semrush’s free stuff today, but I might have to pay those big $$ down the road.

Also keep in mind that SMM is only one of the things we do. So this is not a SMM’s toolkit, nor is it the complete list of what I use.

It's important to be cautious with your actions to avoid potential account blocking.

Here's some advice, sourced from INSG.co and AIGROW.me, to keep you on the right track:

🎃 Refrain from copying and pasting identical comments on multiple accounts.

🎃 Avoid repetitively posting the same comment.

🎃 Be especially vigilant if your account is new, as newer accounts have a higher likelihood of being blocked.

What you should consider doing:

👽 Make an effort to personalize Direct Messages and comments to appear more genuine.

Burn out is real. I’ve lived it as a teacher, as a pastor, as a husband…I’ve come to the conclusion that the outside circumstance aren’t the problem; I am. And burn out is a choice…or rather a series of choices. 1 - My relationship with God comes first. We connect in prayer and in His word and in his community. I do my best when I remember that I am loved as His son. That’s where my value begins. 2 - I set healthy boundaries. As an astute student of myself, I’ve learned to say “no” or “let me think about that” more often. I make time to evaluate new opportunities and make sure it’s something I want to commit to. 3 - I used to be a free spirit and never planned. That frequently bit me on the buttocks. Now, I plan my days out: certain day are for certain tasks and certain times for certain types of work. Knowing your morning-eveningness type is helpful; but just knowing yourself is most helpful. I give myself real deadlines, but ones that are manageable. I also backwards plan everything. 4 - It’s helpful to pause and take a look at a project or client or friendship or whatever it is (professional and personal) in the scope of my entire life. Does it fit with what I want to do? Like to do? Am I trying to get value from this? Is my identity wrapped up in it? Gotta keep a correct perspective of myself in relation to things and others. 5 - I love my tribe. I was blessed to quickly find a great group of people that I connect with regularly. I’m not super shy, but I feel the draw for quiet time too. Knowing this, but also knowing that people are meant for connection, I choose to engage with my community often.
