I gave Heather a History Test today. In order for her to focus and not talk during the test, I told her that every time she talks, one point will be deducted from her score. Let's see what happened.

Beginning of test: Heather sighs! (taking deep breaths, not talking)
Few minutes later: Sighs! Sighs! Sighs! (Still not talking)
The whole duration of the test she sighed and took lots of deep breaths. I thought it was funny so I would turn my back and smile.
To those of you who do not know her well, she loves to talk. So not talking during the test is really a challenge for her.

Finally, she turned in the paper to me and right away jumped and said, "YES!!! It feels so good to talk again! Not talking was terrible."

If you're wondering how long the test was, it was 15 minutes. 🤣
