** update, I have added a screenshot of who this woman is. Her name is Heather. If anyone knows her, please reach out. Even though she did try to scam my husband and I, I truly am worrying about her kids. Their condition when they were in the store was awful. I should have done something then, but I was just so shook about the situation that I kind of just froze. But no child deserves to be in that condition
Greensburg, IN area.

Please be aware of this woman. My husband and I went grocery shopping at Walmart. We were in the lunchbox aisle, this woman came up to us and said “Do you guys mind helping a single, struggling mom out?” my husband asked her ”With what?” She replied back with “Just the food in the cart” he looked at me and I said “It’s up to you.” Just because I seen the things in her cart and it was snacks, 2 cans of formula, coffee, and some sharpies. I was a little sketched out from the beginning, because if you’re really struggling, wouldn’t you be getting dinner food and not just snacks? My husband told her he would pay for JUST the food because she had an infant daughter and a son that was about 4/5 years old. She followed us to the check out line and asked if we could use the self checkout by the hair salon. My husband told her we were going down to the other self checkout because that’s where we parked. We proceeded to go to the self check out at the other end, she gets in front of us, and starts scanning her stuff. She scanned a bunch of non-food items, asked “Can I get a bag of ice?” my husband said “that’s fine”. She gets a bag of ice, comes back, scans the rest of her stuff, and then walks away. I looked at the worker that was standing in front of us at the customer service station, and my face was like 😳😳😳. My husband started scrolling on the kiosk to see what all was on there and she had phone cards on there and a few other things that were not food. $130 worth of stuff she wanted US to pay for. The worker came up to us, we told her the situation, and they got security. She came walking back in, took some of the stuff out of her cart, and PAID FOR IT. One of the things she put back, was THE FORMULA! I felt SO bad for her baby. But then I started thinking to myself, “Did she put the formula in the cart to make people feel bad?” She had asked several people in the store to pay for her stuff tonight, we were the ones that had said “Yes” to the food portion due to her having two kids, and we almost got scammed out of $130 worth of stuff. After paying for our stuff, My husband and I started talking about it, and I realized that, that was her plan all along. That’s why she asked us to go to the self checkout by the hair salon. Little to no workers were over there. The worker had mentioned to us that this isn’t the first time that she’s done this to someone.

I just made this post so no one else falls into her scam like we almost did.

Does anybody know who to contact about a seemingly useless stop sign? There is a stop sign located right in front of the Remax Tower building on N. Broadway Street (Between Wendy's and Lakepoint Apartments) It's ridiculously tiny and not reflective at all. I live over in the area, and have personally seen multiple potential wrecks due to the faulty stop sign.

Thanks for the new group. It's a great idea!
