Cold emailing is probably one lf the most stressful job duties of a PR professional. I’m all for working smarter not harder, so checkout this app I found for iOS that will make the job a bit less cold shouldered

The iPhone App that takes the cold shoulder out of cold contact emails. One of the most dreaded things about reaching out to potential media platforms is cold calling/emailing reporters. The wait and existential stress that comes from wondering if the reporter even read the email let alone responded...

I believe the strangest thing about doing a cold pivot in careers is rebuilding my network. As a 25 year old frad student, I am not afforded the same grace at undergrads just starting out. There is an understandable expectation of knowing the industry that you suddenly decided to change mid life into. I am currently still learning it however I appreciate the knowledge I gained from my previous career choice.
