Submissions are due today! And then shortly thereafter, we'll have a fresh crop of visual, auditory, and literary delights for you, as we leave the dark dream of February and head into the rough winds of March. The bluster may be growing, but, hey--so is the light.

There's still time! As an organization that celebrates and supports the arts, we are unabashed about our pro-education, pro-love, anti-discrimination agenda. We believe art is a vital tool for political resistance against forces that seek to divide, oppress, humiliate, and erode our collective humanity. Art and action are the lights that never go out. We invite you to collaborate with us, in this spirit, on our next issue. http://farmergeneral.com/contact/

Just a reminder fair folk: submissions for the Spring issue are due April 30th! Join us for "Parts of Speech". It will be just as good as a tiny pig wearing a set of miniature rainboots. We promise.

The Farmer General, a bi-monthly online literary journal, invites submissions for our May issue, “Parts of Speech”. In the interest of welcoming and examining the buds, blossoms, and bugs of spring, we ask for fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and visual art that explores small things, parts and pieces, and anything on the subhuman scale. What we really want is to be surprised, so send us your most creative, thought-provoking, or just plain strange pieces. We accept simultaneous submissions and welcome submission from writers of all shapes and sizes. Submissions are due April 30th!
