𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐈𝐐’𝐬 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐌𝐲 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞 is back before World Show season!🎉

Entries are in, patterns are posted, and final schooling rides are taking place as we
near a number of World Shows this summer! Submit videos of you schooling your World Show patterns, or non-pattern classes, and receive private, detailed critiques by nationally recognized judges who are experts in your discipline! You can even submit videos from past shows, lessons, clinics, etc. for feedback!

During the month of June, Sandy Curl will be the official judge! Curl is a professional trainer and judge of 40 years and is carded in ABRA, APHA, ApHC, AMHA, AQHA, NSBA, PtHA, PHBA, and POA.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬:
1️⃣ Upload the video you'd like critiqued to YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, or
another similar platform. The video can be taken anywhere you ride, in any discipline you’ll be competing in!

2️⃣ Insert the video link into the form, noting your discipline or class and any other helpful info or questions for the judge.

3️⃣ Submit the form to receive your constructive feedback within one
business week of the submission closing date!

𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬:
▪️One form per critique.
▪️Critiques are $25 per video critique.
▪️Videos may be no longer than 3 minutes.

EPISODE 20 IS LIVE!!! 🌟

I know it’s not my usual day to release a new episode, but this is a very special episode that I have for you today!
As many of you may know, the Legends of Ranching Performance Horse sale concluded about a week ago at Colorado State University where they had a RECORD breaking year with not only the highest selling horse ever in the sale’s history, but higher than average sales numbers across the board!

In this episode, I got to talk with who was the amazing student who was privileged to get to train Poco 21 aka Benji and the instructor who helped her all year Alex or about the program, the moments we saw in the sales ring, and the future Alex and the other instructors have for the program and Jenna’s plans for the future post grad!!

I had so much fun talking with them and I can’t wait for y’all to listen and please tag me in your stories and let me know what you think!

The American Horse Council (AHC) and American Youth Horse Council, Inc. (AYHC) have joined forces to recreate a directory of equine educational resources known as "The Source Book."

The refreshed edition will include resources provided by:
🐴Equine associations,
🐴Equine nonprofits,
🐴Academic institutions and
🐴Cooperative extension services.

The Source Book will be available as an online tool on both the AYHC and AHC websites. Submissions received by March 29, 2024, will be entered into a drawing for one of two $50 Visa gift cards.

This is so great for our industry and community!!

Last call to spend spring at the stables! The EAPRD is offering an Introductory Horses & Horseback Riding Course in partnership with Inspiration Riding Academy. Class will run on Saturdays April 6, 13, 20, and 27th from 3:00-4:30pm and is open to ages 7-13.

This class will teach the basics of English horseback riding and get you familiar with how to catch, handle, groom and tack up your horse. Another key component of the class is how communicate with your horse from the saddle and become a soft and effective rider. We will focus on body position, coordination of aids (how to tell your horse to do something), and strengthening exercises!

I am so excited to share today’s episode with y’all for a very important and educational conversation talking all things equine nutrition with Dr. Jyme - Feed Room Chemist from Bluebonnet!!

We talk about so many great things in this episode from functional nutrition, asking the right questions in developing a feeding plan, biohacking, and so much more! I think it is important that as owners we understand these important nutrition concepts as in today’s digital world there can be a lot of misinformation from people who claim to be experts, but actually don’t have the credentials to make those decisions. Also, it is necessary for the equine industry as a whole for animal welfare and for proper, responsible horse care.

I learned so much from our conversation and I can’t wait for y’all to hear it!!
