Pan coat (aka cake goop) is a super simple alternative to buttering and flouring your pans that works every time for a perfect cake release! It is truly magical.
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup all purpose flour
With an electric mixer, beat together oil, shortening, and flour until it forms a smooth mixture. Store in an airtight container in your pantry during cooler months or refrigerator year round for up to a year. Paint a thin coat to grease and flour cake pans, muffin pans, etc in one step.

My house was built in 1958, and one thing that always stands out is my stove. People often tease me about it, but I absolutely adore it! It’s the best stove I’ve ever used—it cooks and bakes to perfection. I truly love it. ♥️

I've been pestering my husband for weeks to put the new door chain on and all I've got is I will do it tomorrow! Well I've done it myself us women are just as good as you men when it comes to DIY. Feeling proud girl power.

Okay so I now renting this house and this toilet is NASTY!! I have tried bleach, comet, scrubbing bubbles coke. Nothing works. I really don't want to look at this for the next 2 years. Any suggestions??

I have been given an old brass Jam pan that has been used on a farmhouse open fire. Any idea’s how to clean off the burnt on carbon . I dont want to scratch it. I have used a combo paste of salt and vinegar and bicarb but it didnt lift it. I dont want it to be bright shiny brass everywhere but it would be nice to get some brass shining through in places.

So Iv jumped on the bandwagon and bought a dehumidifier with a laundry mode to help dry the washing, slightly disappointing I haven’t the got the radiator on and can’t really notice the difference so far?
