🌅 Morning Reflection

“We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 10:5

Sometimes the greatest battles happen within the mind. Fear, doubt, comparison, and discouragement can quietly shape the way a person sees life.

But not every thought deserves to be believed.

Today is a reminder to guard the mind, surrender negative thoughts to Christ, and choose faith over fear.

One thought at a time. One day at a time. One step closer to Christ. 🙏📖

5 years ago, I started the Joseph Khual page and began sharing my photography journey.

Looking back, I’m thankful for how much I’ve learned, the people I’ve met, and everyone who has supported me along the way.

I’m not leaving Joseph Khual behind. It’ll still be where I share my personal journey, the behind-the-scenes, the process, and the things that inspire me.

But now I’m also starting a new chapter with KHUAL Studio— a space where I can put more focus on my photography, film, and professional work.

Same mission. Just a different focus.

Really grateful I got to meet Professor Suan through the Grow with Van podcast.

I was behind the camera, but honestly, I was also just listening and taking it all in. The way he thinks, speaks, and carries himself really stayed with me.

It made me reflect on my own journey and education. I’m 31 now, and for some reason, this conversation actually made me want to go back to school and start over. 😂

I guess you never really stop learning. Sometimes you show up just to work the camera, and you leave with something for yourself.

Glad I got to meet him. 📸
