Thank you for all the love and support lately. 🤍

My recent photography post reached 8K+ views, and it honestly made me realize it’s time to give the creative work its own space.

My photography and creative work will now live under KHUAL Studio — focused on portraits, personal branding, fashion, editorial, weddings, events, and visual storytelling.

Joseph Khual will remain my personal space — life, faith, thoughts, creativity, and the things I’m learning along the way.

KHUAL Studio → the work.
Joseph Khual → the person.

More to come. 🖤

A little glimpse of life before their family grows by one more.

This time, they’re welcoming a baby girl. Watching their little family together and capturing these simple moments before she arrives was pretty special.

The little moments become the memories we keep. 🤍

My kind of weekend—
workout, camera, read, create, repeat.

Just keeping myself busy, staying active, learning, and doing what I love.

I’ve been reading Ikigai lately, and one thing that stuck with me is that we all have a reason to get up each day. It doesn’t always have to be something big. Sometimes, purpose is found in the simple things we enjoy, the people we care about, and the things that keep us moving forward.

For me, it’s creating, taking care of myself, reading, and continuing to grow.

“Our ikigai is different for all of us, but one thing we have in common is that we are all searching for meaning.”

So, what does your Ikigai look like?

I think I’m starting to understand that growing up means accepting that life doesn’t always give you a clear direction.

Marriage has made me think differently about responsibility. Work has made me think more seriously about the future. My creative work has made me think about what I actually want to build with my life. And my faith keeps reminding me that I don’t have to carry everything by myself.

There are things I wish were more settled by now, but I’m learning not to measure my life by how quickly everything comes together.

The measure of a man is also in how he handles the in-between seasons—when he’s building, waiting, adjusting, and learning.

I want to handle this season well.

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:11

A Message to my beloved fellow Zomi artists,
Every situation has something to teach us—even the ones that challenge us. Sometimes what we need isn’t more criticism, but more understanding, knowledge, and willingness to learn.

We are already a small community of artists trying to find our place and make our voices heard. We’re too few to be constantly against each other, and too valuable not to lift each other up.

Let’s learn from one another, give grace where there is room to grow, and choose to see the good in each other’s work. We don’t have to agree on everything to respect and encourage one another.

Keep creating. Keep learning. Keep believing in what you have to offer. There is so much talent, beauty, and potential within our community—and I truly believe the best of Zomi creativity is still ahead of us. 🤍

Grateful for a little getaway with my wife, celebrating another year of life and love together. 🤍

Mackinac Island gave us beautiful views, new places to explore, and moments worth remembering. We walked, explored the island, visited the museum, and simply enjoyed being together.

Another year. Another chapter. Still choosing her. 🤍

Happy Labor Day Weekend! 🇺🇸

Grateful for the simple things this weekend—time away, beautiful places, and time with my wife.

We spent our anniversary weekend exploring Mackinac Island, taking in the beautiful landscapes, lake views, and a little history at the museum.

Thankful for another year together and for the memories we continue to make. 🤍

Quote of the Day

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.”
— Matthew 6:34

You don’t have to carry tomorrow today. God has given you grace for this day—not for every possible problem your mind can imagine.

Trust Him with what you cannot control.
Live faithfully today. Let tomorrow arrive in its own time.
