Chris helped us immensely on our Feldman recordings, and designed the artwork for them.

Saddened to learn of Chris Villars' passing. He maintained the Morton Feldman Page since 1997, a major and invaluable resource for anything Feldman, and in 2006 published "Morton Feldman Says: Selected Interviews and Lectures 1964-1987". The site is now inaccessible.

Also a physicist, information technologist and painter who studied philosophy and helped found the contemporary music magazine Contact - he will be greatly missed. Thank you Chris for all your hard work and love.

Chris Villars is survived by his wife Gillian, his son Rob, three grand-children, William, Georgina and Anna; sister Victoria and brother Timothy.
