1. 🚀 First Client Success Story!
I got my first client, and while it wasn't what I imagined, it turned out to be everything I didn't know I needed. Collaborating with amazing consultants and jumping into projects showed me the power of beginning.

2. 💼 New Job & Big Changes!
I'm thrilled to announce a new job that's pretty close to my dream role! The benefits are amazing, they support my professional growth, and they encourage innovation. Plus, I'm moving! Even though I'll still be working in Michigan, both remotely and in person, I'm excited for new collaborations. If you need my services or want to collaborate, reach out! Also, I have a ton of RFPs and RFQs, so if any consultants want to co-apply, let me know!

3. 🎤 Exciting Art News!
My first full-length poetry collection is coming out this year! Stay tuned for pre-order announcements in July. Plus, I'll be booking shows again with the help of an amazing talent management company. And did I mention I do voiceover work now? I have already had two national clients! Happy Monday!

Last month, I started to climb out from under my rock, and get back to checking out local events and diving into local art.
Every month I want to shout-out someone who truly hit it out of the park, and last month Bloom at The Grand Rapids Art Museum was an absolute Home Run by Esan (Pluto Monday) and a collective of amazing artists!
It was vibrant, powerful, and it was a great opportunity to support local creatives and expand ones collection.
The art was *Chefs Kiss*, the vibe was healthy, and the space was stunning!
It was the perfect mental brunch on a Saturday afternoon!
Last month, I was showered with so many affirmations that I still am unsure what to do or in what direction to go.
Someone came up to me at the coffee shop and asked how they could work for me, I got my first client as a “Dream (Goal) Doula”, and while you all rallied behind me with the votes in the local pitch competition I learned that the competition I long adored wasn’t about votes alone; while also seeing how many people were pushing for me.

This month I also got my first collaborative proposal in, I am working on the second collaborative proposal, and I have a meeting for a third!

At first, it was easy to get disheartened by not “winning” before I remembered that when we started The Diatribe (long before it was a non profit) we “won” after not winning.

I’m really excited to see what lands, what collaborations bloom, and I look forward to walking alongside brilliant creatives and change makers!

Yo!

For those that do not know, my name is Marcel Fable Price, but most people just call me Fable.
I am a multi-hyphenate self-directed creative with a knack for storytelling; be that on stages, during keynotes, through workshops, and now via the work I will be doing alongside my clients.

The RE: Group is a creative consulting company, that will work to create equitable solutions & intentional strategies by assembling innovative minds to respond to today’s problems.

For the last 10 years, I had the honor of embarking on a journey that not many get the privilege to experience; I helped create a non profit and took it from filing the articles of incorporation, to raising nearly 6 Million Dollars and reaching the original goal of our first ever capital campaign to create a multi-cultural arts center in the 49507 (the most diverse, powerful, yet underinvested in area of Grand Rapids).

I am excited to share what I know with other aspiring philanthropists, entrepreneurs, and inject a ton of flavor into the creative eco-system by building a consulting company that looks, functions, and lives unlike any other consulting company on the market by assembling a team of vibrant creatives, that will form like Voltron to add flavor to all of the projects we touch!
There is going to be a whole lot of bread being broke, and I intend on doing so in a calculated way so that organizations can spend their dollars more equitably.

Recently, I was talking to a partner with a large national consultant, and he blessed me with a gem. He said “You should show people how you build every step of your business, from the logo to the website, to the copy, and the services, because essentially YOU are your first customer. And if people see what you can do for yourself, they will be able to feel what you can do for them”. So, the next posts will be exactly that, a peak behind the curtain, leading up to the website launch.
