At 15:22 Thornton (Primary) and North Metro were dispatched to a multi-family structure fire at 3351 E 120th Avenue for smoke showing from a lightning strike on the roof. Battalion 71 was first in and reported a medium two-story multi-family structure with a working attic fire, establishing 120th command and requested a second alarm with major incident tones. Half of the second alarm would be picked up before loss stop at 16:22.

1st: T74, E75, E76, E71, E77, M75, BC71, SAM 71, BC62, M63

2nd/MI: T62, M62, E63, E41, M71, WESTY BC1, SAM 1, E14, SAM 11, BC21, E27, CH72, CH74

At 14:31 Tuesday, June 11, Brighton Fire Engine 53, Engine 54, Tender 54, and Tower 52 were dispatched to an outside smoke investigation at 132nd Avenue and Piccadilly Road. At 14:35 the call was upgraded to a first alarm response for a residential structure fire. AdCom reported structures threatened with a 10 acre grass and wheat field fire, however first due picked up a portion of the balance with the exception of wildland engines and tenders.

and the Clifton Fire Protection District celebrated the addition of their newest additions to the fleet Friday including Engine 21, Boat 21, and Squad 21. All three apparatus replace apparatus aging 73 years old combined (1992, 1998, 2009). Engine 21 was wet-down and pushed back into quarters.

Clifton Fire Protection District and the Clifton Professional Firefighters Association Local 5285 hosted a washdown and push-in ceremony for their new 2024 Pierce Enforcer this past Friday. The new engine replaces a 23-year old Pierce Dash which has been moved into reserves. The department recently took delivery of new Rock Proof Boats Rescue Boat and Squad/Utility truck.

SAW Fire Academy (South Adams, Arvada, Brighton) celebrated the graduation of multiple recruit and lateral firefighters this past weekend. All three agencies continue to boost staffing levels with Brighton opening up their 3rd Fire Medic unit in the city.

Roaring Fork Fire Rescue and the RFFR community pushed the new Ambulance 41 into quarters Friday morning. This is the district's newest apparatus to go in service and is the 2nd ambulance built by Braun Northwest, Inc.

The ambulance is dedicated to Wally Dallenbach Sr. who started the Basalt Rescue to better serve the roaring fork valley many years ago.

Roaring Fork Fire Rescue celebrated the addition of their newest apparatus on Friday. Ambulance 41 is a 2023 Ford F-450 manufactured by A41 is based out of the Basalt Fire Station and replaces a 2022 F-450 Braun NW ambulance which was relocated to Station 45.

The Grand Junction Fire Department responded to a brush fire shortly after 23:00 last night at G Road and Horizon Drive. Crews kept the fire from getting close to nearby houses and prevented it from spreading across Horizon Drive. This is the third brush fire in the city last week in areas with thicker brush.
