This sweet girl has been through so much in her wee life. She was found by herself at 3 weeks old, alone outdoors. Her back legs didn’t work properly (probably from spinal trauma).
I started fostering her and instantly fell in love with her feisty personality. During my foster period, she had one leg amputated and several infections. She’s also incontinent bc of her spinal trauma.
When she was ready for adoption, I turned her back into the shelter and then cried for two days. I figured someone with more financial resources would make a better owner for her.
On that second day I went back to adopt her. When she saw me, she went crazy. She was so happy to see me and at that moment, I knew that love was all that mattered.
Kenna is now a little over a year old and has been through a second amputation, multiple infections, urinary issues, and adjusting to life as a

My sweet girl always shows resilience and there is a deep bond between us. Kenna is my soul cat and I’d do anything for her.

Currently, she’s struggling with a nasty UTI and an abdominal hernia that will need surgical repair.

It took a village but I can now officially say that I have a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps feral and medically needy cats. 🙌
