The Talon's Senior Female Athlete of the Year:
Audrey Reeder.
She was a first-team All-San Tan pick all four years of her career, hit .503 in 292 career at bats, voted regiona Defensive Player of The Year (2023), and she helped bring a Clothes Closet to Williams Field High School campus for kids who are in need of some assistance with their wardrobe.

Proud to announce the paper won 13 awards at the AZ Interscholastic Publication Association conference this week.
One had the designation of Superior - a editorial on book banning and censorship - four Excellence and eight honorable mention.

We started a school newspaper at Williams Field last year. The second year is going well and we're looking for advertisers.

Williams Field boys hoops coach Herb Williams resigned today.
After several days of meetings, Williams said he did "what's best for Williams Field at this point. It's said it has come to this but it is where we're at."

On Giving Tuesday, The Talon was given a $200 donation as a pay-it-forward type advertisement.
It's an amazing gift and idea for school program that has zero funding other than what we raise.
The person doesn't want to take out an ad but wants to help out small businesses with the idea that several businesses can get some free advertising but also in turn buy an ad for someone else at a smaller amount (as low as $35) to keep the momentum going with the pay-it-forward notion in play.
If you have a small business and want to participate and then follow up with a pay-it-forward type ad yourself that would be amazing.
Please contact me and let me know. If you know of a small business in the Gilbert era, get me in contact with them for their FREE ad.
Please SHARE this on FB and any other social media you have. Get some exposure (circulation of 1,500) to a small business who can use it.
Keep the momentum going on this great pay-it-forward concept while helping out a fledgling school project.
