PRIVACY POLICY
Businesses are required by law to post their privacy policy. This privacy policy is part of the TCR SMS registration that is required if a business would like to send text messages from a business line. We are a fully contained mobile unit that provides a sharpening service to the lower Metro Detroit area. Our main area of focus is pet groomers, pet salons, veterinary clinics, and
hair salons. We make an appointment, show up, do an absolutely amazing job at sharpening, a little chit chat, discuss timing for the next appointment, and then leave. By texting the contact phone number, you are giving consent to text message replies, SMS, appointment confirmations, appointment reminders and potential follow up appointment updates. CHANGES TO THE POLICY: This is a newly written policy, there are no changes. TYPE OF INFO AND PURPOSE COLLECTED: Keen may collect and retain a customer’s name, or contact names within the business, a phone number, business address and sometimes email address. That’s it, we really don’t need much more than this. This information may be collected verbally from the customers themselves or from public information found on the internet. This information would be used to address the customer professionally by using their name, to call or text about appointment reminders, estimated time of arrivals, and other appointment related information. The address would be used to find out where the appointment will be held. If a customer emails directly, the email address will be saved within the GMAIL platform. DATA SECURITY MEASURES: Data is stored on a secure server with limited access through a computer. Computer is not stored in a public place, but in a private residence. DATA SHARING: All customer data, including phone numbers used in SMS opt in communications, will never be shared by me with third parties under any circumstances. USER RIGHTS: Customers have the right to update or delete their own data that I have collected, understanding that it will affect communication with Keen. If I don’t have the customer’s information, then they are not a customer/user. COOKIES OR SIMILAR TECHNOLOGY AND HOW MANAGED: We do not have cookie technology. However, by visiting our page, Facebook may use that information to advertise similar businesses, articles, etc. I cannot speak of how Facebook uses cookies, but that would be found in their own privacy policy.
