Today: A strong low-pressure system will move through central Colorado through late in the afternoon/ early evening. While dry weather is expected across eastern Wyoming and the western Nebraska Panhandle throughout the afternoon, rain and snow will be expected after 8 p.m. Wind gusts will begin to pick up as we go on later on in the evening. As it sits right now, Laramie, Wyoming to Kimball nebraska will have the best chance of accumulating snow. 3 - 6 inches will be likely. There is less of a chance for Scottsbluff. Trace amounts of snow will be likely from Casper to Torrington. Highs for eastern Wyoming will be in the mid to upper 50s and lower 60s with winds shifting from the north/ northwest to the northeast as we go through out the day. Highs for the Western Nebraska Panhandle will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s with winds coming out of the northeast at 5-15 mph.
Tuesday: Winds will continue to gust through out much of the morning and early afternoon, but they will begin to taper off after 2 p.m. as that low pushes east. Dry weather is expected across eastern Wyoming and the Western Nebraska Panhandle. Highs for eastern Wyoming will be in the mid to upper 20s and lower 30s with winds coming out of the northwest at 15-25 mph. Wind gusts will be in the 55-65 mph range. Highs for the western Nebraska Panhandle will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s with winds coming out of the northwest at 20-25 mph. Wind gusts will be in the 55-60 mph range.
Wednesday: Dry weather is likely across eastern Wyoming and the Western Nebraska Panhandle. Highs for eastern Wyoming will be in the mid to upper 30s and lower 40s with winds coming out of the west/northwest at 5-15 mph. Highs for the western Nebraska Panhandle will be in the lower to mid 40s with winds coming out of the northwest at 5-10 mph.
Another storm system will begin its' journey through late Thursday afternoon.
