Good morning ladies and gentlemen, I hope that you all had a fantastic week.

Today: A low-pressure system will move across northern Colorado/ southeastern Wyoming throughout the afternoon and evening. A cold front will begin to move in later on tonight into tomorrow morning. Dry weather is expected across eastern Wyoming and the Western Nebraska Panhandle. Highs for eastern Wyoming will be in the mid to upper 70s with winds coming out of the west at 15-25 mph. Wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph will be likely from Casper to Laramie late tomorrow afternoon and into the evening.

Tomorrow: There is a very small chance of snow showers west of the Laramie area early tomorrow morning as that cold front pushes through. Smaller chances of snow will be possible in the Casper area and Cheyenne area. Dry weather is expected tomorrow afternoon across eastern Wyoming and the Western Nebraska Panhandle. Highs for eastern Wyoming will be in the mid to upper 40s and lower 50s with winds coming out of the west/northwest at 15-20 mph. Highs for western Nebraska will be in the mid to upper 50s with winds coming out of the northwest at 15-25 mph. 25 to 45 mph wind gusts will be possible.

Monday: Dry weather is expected once again across eastern Wyoming and the western Nebraska Panhandle. Highs for eastern Wyoming will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s with winds coming out of the northwest at 10-15 mph. Highs for the western Nebraska panhandle will be in the upper 40s to mid 5s with winds coming out of the northwest at 10-15 mph.

High pressure will continue to dominate Tuesday through at least Thursday, giving us those 60- and 70-degree temperatures. AS we get into later on Thursday afternoon and into the evening, we will see a shift in the jet stream along the west coast. What does this mean for our area? There is a chance that we will see some active weather in the form of rain and snow. What I'm waiting to see, is if this storm is going to be fast/slow, or will it sendoff waves? I should have some answers by Wednesday afternoon. I will also be going over the difference between a tornado watch, tornado warning, and a tornado emergency at some point next week.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen, I hope you have a fantastic day today.

Today: Dry weather is expected across eastern Wyoming and the Western Nebraska Panhandle. Highs for eastern Wyoming will be in the lower to mid 70s with winds coming out of the west/northwest at 10-15 mph with southerly flow as we get towards the Nebraska Panhandle. Tomorrow: A low pressure system will move across portions of northern/central Colorado during the day, with a cold front pushing through later on in the night/ early Sunday morning. Dry weather is expected once again across our viewing areas. Highs for eastern Wyoming will be in the mid to upper 70s and lower 80s with winds coming out of the west/southwest at 15-25 mph. Highs for the western Nebraska Panhandle will be in the upper 70s to mid 80s with winds coming out of the west at 5-15 mph.

Sunday: Isolated rain and snow showers will be possible from extreme northern Colorado and across southeastern Wyoming/ southwestern Nebraska Panhandle during the early morning hours. Dry but cooler weather is expected across eastern/southeastern Wyoming. Highs for eastern Wyoming will be in the will be in the mid to upper 40s with winds coming out of the north/northwest at 10-20 mph. Highs for the western Nebraska Panhandle will be in the mid to upper 40s and lower 50s with winds coming out of the northwest at 15-25 mph.

Another high pressure system is expected to develop across the Western Portion of the United States of America. This will essentially shut off all moisture transport and will keep those temperatures in the upper 50s to mid 60s with 70s returning towards the end of the week. The jet stream is expected to begin shifting on/ around April 17th. That means that we will see more of an active weather pattern.

Some rain and snow shower activity is expected on Sunday afternoon across eastern Wyoming and the western Nebraska Panhandle, but the rest of the week looks to be dry. There is chance that we could see a shift in the jet stream next weekend, but it is still too early for me to tell what will happen.

Looking at the latest Drought Monitor shows eastern Wyoming and the Western Nebraska Panhandle in exceptional drought. What does this mean for tornado season? I do expect eastern Wyoming and the Western Nebraska Panhandle to be in the average to below average category due to lack of soil moisture.
