MY 7-YEAR-OLD DREW A PICTURE OF MY HUSBAND WITH ANOTHER WOMAN – AND WROTE, 'I CAN’T WAIT FOR YOU TO BE MY MOM'
I need to get this out somewhere before I explode.
I’m a mom to my sweet girl, Mia, who’s seven. Last night, after a long day at work, I was cleaning up her crayons and coloring books. That’s when I found it.
It was a drawing—just a cute little sketch at first glance. It showed a family: a man, a woman, and a little girl all holding hands. I smiled at first, thinking, aw, how sweet. But then I looked closer. The man? Definitely Jack, my husband. But the woman? It wasn’t me. She had brown hair and was dressed like a bride. Next to them, Mia had written in her big, bubbly handwriting: “I CAN’T WAIT FOR YOU TO BE MY MOM.”
My stomach dropped. My heart was pounding so hard I thought I might pass out. What in the world was I looking at? Is Jack… cheating? With someone Mia already considered “mom” material?
I couldn’t let it go, so I went to Mia’s room. I asked her gently about the picture. And then it happened. She turned bright red, snatched the drawing out of my hands, and held it against her chest. Then she blurted out: “You weren’t supposed to see that! Daddy said to hide it better!" ⬇️

WE PAID FOR MY STEPDAUGHTER'S HONEYMOON, BUT SHE CALLED US "CHEAP," SO I IMMEDIATELY MADE A CALL.
After contributing significantly to our stepdaughter's wedding, my husband and I decided to gift her and her husband a dream honeymoon in the Dominican Republic. We chose a villa so breathtaking we joked about renewing our own vows just to stay there ourselves!
They set off, and the next morning, we got the call:
Her: "Dad, I can't believe you thought this place was acceptable. The villa is SMALL. It's barely 850 square meters! The pool is TINY. Like, I can swim three strokes and hit the edge. Oh, and the sun here? It's not even as golden as it looked on Instagram. It's just…meh. The beach is a FIVE-MINUTE walk! You couldn't stretch the budget for a proper place? YOU'RE JUST SO CHEAP!"
I sat there, stunned. We had spent thousands to give her a beautiful honeymoon, and here she was nitpicking things like the brightness of the sun. My husband was boiling with anger, his face turning red, but I put a hand on his shoulder and said calmly, "Hon, don't worry. I have an idea." ⬇️

At 62, I found a boyfriend. His name was Peter, and like me, he was single. We hit it off instantly, following our very first date. He was so confident and gallant—almost too good to be true! I couldn’t believe someone like him had come into my life. Before long, we started dating, and everything felt like a whirlwind of happiness. I even invited him to spend Thanksgiving with my family.
That day, while I was in the kitchen cooking, he hummed my favorite songs, glancing over occasionally with that charming smile of his. My heart swelled. I thought to myself, this is it. This is going to be the best day.

ME AND MY HIGH SCHOOL CRUSH MET YEARS LATER. HE INVITED ME ON A RESTAURANT DATE BUT WHEN IT WAS TIME TO PAY THE BILL, I WAS SPEECHLESS.
So, in high school, I was this quiet, nerdy girl who was always in the library. I had a huge crush on Jason, the popular, handsome guy who didn’t even know I existed.
Years later, I've totally changed – no more glasses or braces, and I'm rocking my career. One day, I'm picking avocados at the store and hear, "Emma? Is that you?" I turn and see Jason, looking as good as ever. He's shocked and says I look amazing.
We chat for a bit, and I tell him about my job and how I just moved back to town.
As we're about to say goodbye, he suddenly asks, "Hey, do you want to grab dinner sometime? You know, catch up properly?"
My brain is screaming, "YES!" IT’S JASON! ASKING ME OUT! Of course, I say yes.
A few days later, we meet at this fancy restaurant downtown. I'm super impressed with his choice – it's really elegant. We sit down, order, and start talking about old times.

I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW SOMEONE CAN COME TO CHURCH LIKE THIS! I THEN CONFRONTED HER AND HER RESPONSE LEFT ME IN SHOCK!
After the service, I saw her outside and decided to approach her. I tried to be polite, but I told her that I felt her look wasn’t really appropriate for church and maybe she should consider toning it down in such a setting.
She looked at me like I was crazy and sharply told me something that left me in shock... 👇😨
