We took a little road trip to the Outer Banks to get away from boat projects and see some of the sights. We took time to stretch our legs a bit and get in quite a few steps…literally. 😎⛵️

Bonny is a bit embarrassed. Being the agile and nimble dog that she is, sometimes her excitement is too much for even her to handle. Tonight she was so excited seeing a human friend she walked off the end of the finger pier and into the water. Thankfully Craig was there to save the day. Too late for a bath tonight but Bonny will get a good scrubbing in the morning. 🐶🛁

Spent a few days on Ocracoke Island. Took tram rides, did some walking and bike riding. It’s a small island so it doesn’t take long to get anywhere. Lots of shops and places to eat. Spent an evening with fellow sailors too. Nice place to rest and relax. 😎⛵️

Ocracoke Regatta has begun. Sails are up, wind is good (so far), Out of Sight is cruising along at 6.5 kts, and the captain is in his happy place. 😎⛵️
