WORLD PREMIER!!! It's not often you can hear this amount of talent on one stage! Come to Black Squirrel Club Friday night as we present the first performance ever of the L.O.V.E. Jazz Orchestra. Assembled by accomplished saxophonist and veteran band leader Chris Oatts, the newly formed L.O.V.E. Jazz Orchestra is a large jazz ensemble featuring the most in demand jazz musicians in Philadelphia as well as brand new compositions for the group by members of the band.

Prioritizing diverse musical perspectives and voices in the vein of Thad Jones and Mel Lewis, L.O.V.E.J.O. aims to elevate the amazing musicians in the city of Philadelphia by presenting new works to receptive audiences. We, here at L.O.V.E. want to engage Philadelphia audiences seeking a centralized large ensemble collective performing new music and giving an outlet to local artists.
