October 4th - OneBeat Open Mic Takeover and Food Fest!!
How Bāzār(.how.bazar ), Pulp Arts ( ), GGIC( ) and OneBeat are thrilled to team up for another Open Mic Takeover at the How Bāzār Concept store in Downtown Gainesville.
After an incredible community show this spring, we are excited to return with a brand new group of 25 inspiring artists from 19 countries around the world. From the heart-pounding beats of Manila’s underground rave scene to the hypnotic melodies of Nepalese folk artists, the infectious rhythms of Lagos, Nigeria, and the experimental electronics of Nairobi, Kenya – this is a sonic journey that will transcend borders and genres.
The evening will also see performances from Gainesville locals Suddenly( ), Mace ( ) and 9th Ring as well as DJing by Jeremiah Ludicrous .
We are excited to partner with GGIC to present a host of food vendors during the evening representing cuisines from around the world and available for sale all night. Join us for this mini-festival of music and food!
