I had the honor to meet this extraordinary man many years ago. John is factually the reason I ever wanted to pick up a guitar or really play music. He was brilliant, humble, gifted, and in my brief encounter with him, incredibly gracious and kind. Needless to say, I pre-ordered this biography already.
