A couple of early morning Thunderstorms came through Sandusky county this morning. The storms which produced heavy rains, and gusty winds came through around 2:30am and then about 5:30 this morning. Work crews from American Electric Power and Toledo Edison were at the were called out to minor power outages. AEP officials says very minor outage totaling 19 customers occurred in Fremont. Three customers were affected off Buckland Avenue near the Hayes Presidential center. Sixteen customers were affected after an outage occurred on Morrison Road inside city limits. Toledo Edison officials have some outage reports in Sandusky County all of 20 customers or under. Less than 20 customers were affected in an outage that occurred off US Route 6 and 590, east of the village Helena. The other outage of less than 20 customers occurred on State Route 19 near the Turnpike bridge. In all cases power outage restorations was expected to be completed by noon today. Sandusky County was placed under a brief Severe Thunderstorm watch earlier this morning. The entire county remains under a wind advisory until 4pm this afternoon. Sustained winds of 20 to 30 mile per hour and wind gusts of up to 55 miles per hour are possible.
